  3. What makes us reluctant to speak out when friends are making terrible choices?
  4. If sinners are so firmly opposed to the gospel message, what is our hope and confidence in continuing to share the good news?
  5. Why do you think people are so “touchy” today and offended by even honest and gentle criticism? What can you do to be personally less offended?

What benefits would accrue to you if you invited such criticism of others?

  2. Why must God’s servants practice boldness in “proclaiming” the gospel? What is the difference between sharing the gospel and sharing your testimony?
  3. Explain how every conversion to Christ must be a true miracle. In what way does this give us hope in evangelistic outreach?
  4. For whose salvation are you praying? How can you give legs to your prayer?
  5. What is your most pressing takeaway from this biblical text?
