- What is some good news you have heard lately? What makes it good?
- What does the word “gospel” mean? To you, what is the best part of the gospel?
- We should take care of God’s creation. But how might this focus misdirect us from what is central to God’s plan?
- “God is using the people he has reclaimed to play a vital role in his work of restoration.” Why is this such good news?
- What distinction did the pastor make between “management” and “leadership”? How are each of these important in their own right?
- What are the four verbs in Christ’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20)? Which is the main verb? What does this tell us about the church’s mission?
- Which aspect of Christ’s Great Commission relates to the distinction between “management” and “leadership”? How can we know if we are fulfilling the Great Commission?
