I. WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT SHARING THE GOSPEL IS THE HIGHEST LOVE.

II. WE MUST LIVE “QUESTIONABLE” LIVES.

III. WE MUST HAVE A READY ANSWER.

  1. If you could ask Jesus one honest question, what would it be?
  2. What has been Jesus’ real purpose in submitting to all these hostile questions?
  3. What is the “summary of the law”? How does this relate to the Ten Commandments?
  4. What’s wrong with adopting the simple principle: “Do the loving thing.”?
  5. How can we be sure that sharing the gospel is the highest form of love?
  6. Why should we live “questionable” lives? (1 Peter 3:15) What’s at stake if we do not?
  7. What are some practical ways we can live “questionable” lives?
  8. Explain: “The heart of all of Jesus’ answers was himself.”
  9. What’s foolish regarding the statement: “Always preach the gospel. If necessary, use words.”?
  10. Is it possible for Christians to live consistent with what we profess to believe? Why or why not?
  11. Which is more difficult: to obey the Ten Commandments or the summary of the law? Why?
